"At the heart of the match": a second edition marked by innovation and success

As part of its commitment to innovation and accessibility, Ciril GROUP once again combined technology and passion for sport at the EuroLeague match between LDLC ASVEL and Real Madrid. Indeed, after the resounding success of the first edition in April 2024, Ciril GROUP, in partnership with Infinity Nine Media and LDLC ASVEL, repeated the immersive virtual reality experience " Au Cœur du Match" .

This time, it was a patient at the Germaine Revel Center in Chabanière who lent herself to the game and had the opportunity to watch the match from her room, thanks to a virtual reality headset connected to a 3D camera installed at the edge of the pitch. The experience acquired by the teams during the first edition ensured an increasingly smooth and efficient installation of the device.

In addition to outstanding visual quality, the device captures the sounds of the match, offering a complete immersive experience. Thanks to its light weight and ease of installation at the edge of the pitch, the camera enabled the patient to experience the match as if she were on the players' bench. This level of immersion enabled her to share the intensity of the match with the public and the players, while benefiting from a privileged viewpoint, as close as possible to the action. Players were able to send her personalized messages. What's more, the patient was lucky enough to receive a video message from Tony Parker, President of LDLC ASVEL, adding an even more personal touch to this unique experience.

And what a match it was! The emotion was all the more intense as the match ended with LDLC ASVEL's historic victory over Real Madrid. A great moment of joy, experienced from a distance but with the same intensity, illustrating the ability of sport and technology to overcome physical obstacles. This latest success confirms the scope and impact of this initiative. More than a technical feat, this project is guided by a human and supportive approach: to offer everyone the opportunity to experience sport, whatever the context.

On the strength of this second success, Ciril GROUP and its partners are planning further developments, such as the addition of mobile cameras in the changing rooms or simultaneous broadcasting to several participants, enabling this unique experience to be extended to an ever-growing audience.

LDLC ASVEL's victory, combined with the enthusiasm generated by this second edition, encourages us to continue this wonderful adventure. Ciril GROUP and its partners hope to repeat this initiative for future matches and seasons, with the ambition of making it a regular event.
