Major environmental and organizational challenges

With more than 360,000 inhabitants spread over 23 communes and two départements, Grand Paris Sud faces a twofold challenge:

• ensure sustainable public governance of the water cycle,

• manage a complex organization, with over 1,200 km of drinking water networks and 1,700 km of wastewater networks.

Guaranteeing water quality, preserving the natural environment and optimizing costs: these objectives called for a high-performance GIS solution, capable of federating business activities and providing day-to-day support for agents.
