Géoclip
Geostatistical observatories
Draw up geostatistical observatory portraits of territories in web mode
Géoclip is a statistical web mapping solution for all your observation, analysis, reporting and communication needs.
Founded in the early 2000s, GéoClip was the brainchild of a team of GIS and statistical engineers who put all their scientific knowledge and technical know-how at the service of a goal as simple to write as it was ambitious to achieve: to make localized statistical data accessible to as many people as possible. You can draw up portraits of territories by visualizing, exploring, comparing and analyzing all types of localized data and indicators, rendered in the form of interactive and dynamically linked maps, graphs, tables and reports. The approach to data observation is totally free, leaving users free to navigate as they please between themes and geographical scales, with no constraints or imposed scenarios, and with a structured or unstructured exploratory approach.

Géoclip demonstrations
Take a look at Géoclip's demonstration applications, created and fed with public data reworked and documented by Ciril GROUP - because to build a good observatory, you first need to work well with your data to obtain quality indicators!
The power of simple, comparative analyses at all cartographic scales, the precision of localized data and indicators, the complementarity of interactive, graphic and cartographic modes of representation, and much more. It would be pointless to list here the many reasons why Géoclip is so appealing. The best thing to do is to point you in the direction of some of the demonstrations commonly consulted by those who, like you, are interested in Géoclip.
Below is a brief selection of Géoclip demonstration applications. Please note that the vast majority of Géoclip observatories are public, so don't hesitate to check them out too!
Focus on France Découverte: Observatoire Géostatistique Grand Public
If you haven't heard of France Découverte yet, now's the time to get to know the most comprehensive geostatistical observatory for the general public on the web!
Based on Géoclip, and created to allow you to test the software's features, France Découverte quickly became an application of, dare we say, public utility.
Territorial players and decision-makers of all kinds, as well as statisticians, researchers, journalists, teachers, students, etc., have bookmarked France Découverte to observe and analyze French territorial, political, socio-demographic and health news from a geostatistical perspective.
The data is carefully collected, compiled, documented and kept up to date and enriched by Ciril GROUP, in order to offer you a level of information as accurate and precise as the available data allows. If you haven't already done so, add France Découverte to your web favourites to benefit from the richness of this "showcase" geostatistical observatory!
TELECOM OBSERVATORY
This observatory of FTTH optical fiber deployment is based on data from Arcep, supplemented and cross-referenced with data from Insee. Discover the comparative temporal analyses, for example, to trace the evolution of fiber optic deployment over time in a selection of territories, and compare it with that of the French territory as a whole.
VOTING OBSERVATORY
Consult the results of French elections since 1995. This observatory is enriched after each election with official data; the results, available down to electoral district level, are contextualized using framing data from other Géoclip observatories, thanks to the TJS protocol enabling observatories to communicate with each other.
EUROPE DISCOVERY
This European observatory uses a grid background of more than 2 million tiles to produce population estimates per 1 kilometer tile, with remarkable performance and accuracy. Observe, for example, the phenomena of urbanization and settlement of the European population as a whole; also note the disparities from one country to another.
